Privacy Policy

This policy describes the visitor information that Conecuh County Court Docket may receive, how that information is used, and which outside services may process data. By continuing to use the site, you acknowledge these practices. Official case files remain with the Conecuh County Circuit Clerk, the applicable trial court, or another lawful custodian under Alabama court-record rules.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A search entered in a site search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Conecuh County Court Docket does not keep a separate log of the names or case numbers entered there.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you email the site, the message and return address may be retained long enough to review and answer it. A message is not sent to the Conecuh County Circuit Clerk, David Jackson, or any Alabama court. It may be disclosed when a valid legal duty requires disclosure.

Data We Gather Automatically

Normal server and analytics logs may record technical facts about a visit, including an IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, referring page, pages viewed, visit length, and timestamps. These facts help measure site operation and diagnose faults.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies and analytics tools may be used to understand aggregate traffic, popular pages, and navigation patterns. A browser can block or remove cookies, though doing so may change how some functions work. Analytics providers apply their own privacy terms to data processed on their systems.

What We Do With This Data

Visitor data is used only for ordinary site operation and administration. Those purposes include maintaining performance, routing search requests to the appropriate provider, measuring which reference pages are useful, correcting technical problems, protecting the service, and presenting advertising. It is not used to create an official Conecuh County case file.

No Court-Record Data on File

Conecuh County Court Docket does not maintain, sell, or compile a database of personal court records. The site publishes general directions to the Circuit Clerk, Conecuh County Circuit and District Courts, municipal custodians, and AlacourtAccess. Alabama Rule of Judicial Administration 33 and Alabama Code section 36-12-40 preserve lawful access through court custodians, but those provisions do not turn this private site into an official repository or consumer reporting agency.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies power the search boxes. Data entered there is handled under the provider's policy, including its retention, security, and sharing terms. Conecuh County Court Docket does not control those practices. Review the provider's notice before entering a query, especially when the query includes a full name or other identifying detail.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to the Conecuh County court site, Alabama Judicial System resources, AlacourtAccess, AlaFile, municipal portals, or other services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, that destination's policy governs. Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure activity across sites; their systems and choices are outside this site's control.

Who Might See Your Data

Personal information is not sold. Limited visitor data may be available to vendors that host or secure the site, analytics services that measure use, advertising networks that place ads, search partners that receive a submitted query, and a government or law-enforcement body acting through valid legal process.

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for data under the site's control. No internet service can promise absolute security. Visitors should avoid sending Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or sealed case content by ordinary email. Official record requests should follow the Conecuh County Circuit Clerk's current instructions.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under eighteen. If information from a minor is identified, it may be removed after a verified request.

Your Data Rights

Applicable federal and Alabama law may give a visitor rights concerning personal data held by a private website. Depending on the law and facts, a person may ask what information is retained, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. These visitor-data questions are separate from rights to inspect Alabama court records under section 36-12-40 and Rules 30 and 33.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be revised as site practices, vendors, or law change. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. The current version should be reviewed before sending personal data through a site feature.

Effective date: August 13, 2026
